Keeping in mind that the chain is as strong as its weakest link, jNet research team spent a considerable amount of time choosing the right silicon for the job. One of the requirements for the chip was to achieve the "Chip Hardware Architecture" certification, which is a de facto standard agreed upon by Europay, MasterCard and Visa International. All of jNet's current products are built around 32-bit and 16-bit RISC architectures with security rating from Visa International, set at Technology Level 3.
