jNet Technology announces its Global Platform product, GPOS-16

jNet Technology, Inc. a smart card startup in Silicon Valley, U.S.A. has announced a new version of its Global Platform Operating System based on low-cost yet high performance 16-bit RISC family of chips from Samsung Electronics. The new operating system, GPOS-16 supports the latest version of Global Platform (2.1.1) and Java Card (2.2.1) standards along with advanced crypto algorithms such as AES. It is available in Eeprom sizes from 8K in an ultra low-cost model all the way to 256K which provides plenty of room even for most demanding applications.
