
jNet Technology launches its dual interface Global Platform product, GPOS-16PK-W for transit applications

jNet Technology, Inc. a smart card startup in Silicon Valley, U.S.A. has announced a new version of its Global Platform Operating System with Public Key encryption and dual interface support based on very cost effective yet high performance 16-bit RISC family of chips from Samsung Electronics. The new operating system, GPOS-16PK-W supports the latest version of Global Platform (2.1.1) and Java Card (2.2.1) standards along with advanced crypto algorithms such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). It is available with Eeprom size of 32K.
This new dual interface product was conceived in response to growing demand for contactless, high-performance Global Platform implementation with ISO 14443 protocol.
