jNet Technology announces its Global Platform product, GPOS-16PK

jNet Technology, Inc. a smart card startup in Silicon Valley, U.S.A. has announced a new version of its Global Platform Operating System with Public Key encryption based on very cost effective yet high performance 16-bit RISC family of chips from Samsung Electronics. The new operating system, GPOS-16PK supports the latest version of Global Platform (2.1.1) and Java Card (2.2.1) standards along with advanced crypto algorithms such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). It is available in Eeprom sizes from 32K to 128K.

It's also possible to integrate in ROM mask such industry standard products as Visa VSDC, PSE or VS3 implementations.
