For customers seeking complete solutions for their Global Platform card, jNet offers a single source to license the necessary technology. Our product offering includes hardware abstraction layer for a chosen platform, kernel and I/O library, Java Card Virtual Machine and Runtime Environment fully integrated with Global Platform or Visa Open Platform frameworks.

Whether our customers are silicon manufacturers, card manufacturer or system integrators, jNet would deliver a complete package with binary mask and all required tools to create a fully compliant Global Platform product.

Global Platform Technology from jNet

jNet has available the latest implementation of Global Platform Card specification, version 2.1.1 published in March 2003. In addition to Global Platform standard features, jNet's Global Platform includes such optional features as RSA support, DAP/Multi DAP, Receipts, Delegated Management and additional Security Domain protocol implementation (SP02). The standalone Security Domain is also included on-card.

The Global Platform package also includes deprecated framework used in the previous version of Global Platform, i.e. Visa Open Platform version 2.0.1. That allows Global Platform and Visa Open Platform applets to co-exist on card.

jNet Global Platform product works well with both versions of Java Card Runtime Environment, i.e. versions 2.1.1 and 2.2.1. When integrated with Java Card version 2.2.1, jNet's Global Platform also offers optional multi-channel functionality.
