Java Card Technology

jNet has developed a clean-room, high-performance Java Card Virtual Machine solution that can be bundled with its Global Platform or Visa Open Platform products. jNet's Java Card VM offers superior performance, portability and modularity. It is fully compliant with Sun Microsystems' "Java Card Runtime Environment Specification", version 2.2.1.

Our Java Card VM has been designed in a modular and scalable approach allowing easy port to another architecture. The Virtual Machine can be built to either minimize code size or maximize performance using our configuration tools. Because a typical Java Card applet spends a large portion of its execution invoking Java APIs, our entire Java Card APIs subsystem has been implemented in a native code for maximum performance.
